We are Jerry and Joy Pickles, a husband and wife team of REALTORS with Windermere Real Estate. We work in the West Valley area of Phoenix in one of the the valley's fastest growing communities - Surprise and the Sun Cities. We are pleased to live and work in this area - there is so much to do! There are many new restaurants, businesses and shopping centers opening almost weekly. For the sports enthusiast, there are several Spring training camps in the surrounding communities. The City of Surprise hosts Spring Training camps for the Texas Rangers and the Kansas City Royals with a terrific stadium complex and practice fields voted one of the best! The facility is also multi-purpose and used for community events held throughout the year. The nearby City of Glendale has built an incredible arena offering many concerts and sports venues throughout the year, and has built the new Cardinals Football stadium which will house the 2008 Super Bowl. For those that appreciate the arts, there are many theatres and symphony centers in the Phoenix area offering a wide variety of top artists, plays and musicals. The Maricopa County Events Center in neighboring Sun City West has many artist performances and theatre productions throughout the year.
Located in the City of Surprise are three active adult communities: Arizona Traditions, Sun City Grand and Sun Village. Our nearby communities of Sun City and Sun City West also offer great home buying opportunities for active adults... and many challenging courses for the golfer!
